Exhibition's venue :
Organized by the Accademia Internazionale Medicea, Curator: Nicoletta Rossotti, in collaboration with Carlos Sablón,
The exhibition ANATOMIE DEL SEGNO will take place from august 2 to 16, 2026, August 2 to August 16, 2026, at the prestigious Palazzo dell’Emiciclo in L’Aquila, capital of the Abruzzo region and officially designated Italian Capital of Culture 2026.
1. The Artists:
This exhibition will bring together artists preselected by Master Carlos Sablón, during the Salon Comparaisons (2021–2026) and the Salon d’Automne 2025.
2. Dates of the exhibition and the opening:
From August 2 to August 16, 2026.
All artists are invited to the opening events. Travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the artist.
The official opening ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., in the presence of institutional representatives, cultural personalities, and members of the Accademia Internazionale Medicea.
3. Paintings:
ONE (1) to TREE (3) paintings:

large format maximum size: 100 x 100 cm, on canvas in Oil or Acrylic.
Supervision: Mandatory black nail cover, frame prohibited (Provide hanging material for the two paintings because there is no time to improvise on site)
All paintings must be signed by the artist with artist name and title of the painting on the frame. Tables not respecting these conditions cannot be accepted.
4. Theme
Magical realism, surrealism, visionary art, new figuration.
5. Installation
The installation will be carried out by the museum’s curatorial and technical team.
6. Participation Fee
• 1 artwork: €210
• 2 artworks: €380
• 3 artworks: €450

This reference is mandatory to ensure proper identification of your registration.
7. Insurance
Insurance for the artworks during transport and throughout the exhibition period is the responsibility of the artist.
The organizers decline all responsibility in case of theft, fire, or any other damage.
8. Sales
During the exhibition, artworks will be offered at their public price.
Delivery costs are borne by the buyer.
Negotiations may not exceed 15% of the public price stated in the application.
The intermediary receives a 20% commission on sales.
9. Reproduction Rights
Artists will not claim reproduction rights or royalties for the reproduction of their works in media related to the event.
The artist must submit a high-resolution image (300 dpi) of the artwork via the application form no later than july 20, 2026.
10. Transport
Each artist is responsible for shipping their artworks to L’Aquila.
Shipments must be sent between July 22 and July 27, 2026, in order to ensure their arrival before the installation of the exhibition.

Once the shipment has been dispatched, each artist must communicate the tracking number to the organizers in order to facilitate parcel monitoring and ensure proper delivery.
RETURN OF ARTWORKS
At the end of the exhibition, return logistics will be coordinated through Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE), the official logistics partner of the event.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of each artist and will be handled directly with MBE according to the destination and dimensions of the package. The delivery address listed above will also serve as the sender’s address for return shipments.
